Like any conventional drainage system, Sustainable Drainage Systems should be inspected regularly and correctly maintained to ensure optimum performance.

To assist their clients with the maintenance of Sustainable Drainage Systems Permavoid can offer a full maintenance support service as follows:

• Site surveys and preparation of routine maintenance plans.
• Pre handover inspection and cleaning of completed Permavoid installations including camera scan and certification.
• Routine Inspection and maintenance of existing Permavoid installations including channel jetting, camera scans and repair work.
• Specialist maintenance of oil interception systems including:
  • Decanting of oils and hydrocarbons
  • Separation and removal of hydrocarbons from water to reduce waste disposal costs associated with transporting contaminated water off site
  • Removal of silts
  • Inspection of systems
  • Water sampling and testing at the point of discharge
